Crystal Palace Ivorian winger, Wilfried Zaha has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for April.

The 25-year-old scored four goals and added one assist as Palace won two and drew two of their four matches.

It is the fourth time the award has gone to an African player this season. Egypt international Mohamed Salah has picked up the prize three times this term while his Liverpool teammate and Senegal forward Sadio Mane won the first award of the campaign back in August.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Christian Eriksen bagged goal of the month for his stunning strike in Tottenham’s 3-1 win at Chelsea on April 1.

The Danish midfielder’s strike was followed by goals in the subsequent 2-1 win at Stoke and the 3-1 home defeat to champions Manchester City.
