SWITZERLAND, SEPTEMBER 10 – The crisis in the Ondo State House of Assembly over the tussle between Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and his estranged Deputy, Agboola Ajayi has taken a dramatic turn after some suspected pro-Ajayi lawmakers were locked out of the Assembly complex during a recent plenary session.

See video below:

Agboola Ajayi defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) a few months ago to contest for the Ondo State gubernatorial election coming up in October this year.

The move effectively led to moves by pro-Akeredolu lawmakers to impeach the Deputy governor, thereby splitting the house into two.
