National Assembly resumes, electoral amendment tops deliberations

The National Assembly has finally resumed today, Tuesday, October 9, 2018. The issues topping the agenda include the Electoral Act Amendment, INEC’s budget, and a possible gang-up by APC senators to remove Senate president, Bukola Saraki.

The Senate opened exactly at 11.08 am as president, Bukola Saraki led the senators into the hallowed chamber. At 11.09, the Senate  moved into an Executive Session, from which it resumed at 11.25 am.
