Ekiti State governor, PDP chieftain and one of the loudest critics of president Muhamadu Buhari has revealed in a new tweet that he warned those who brought in the president in 2015.
“Shameful display of tyranny at the NASS. At this point, we can only pray to God to save democracy in our country from the hands of these tyrants. But I warned! I warned those who brought Buhari in 2015 and I kept warning even after he was elected, ” Fayose said.
Fayose was reacting to the siege of the National Assembly yesterday by men of the Department of State Security(DSS) ostensibly as part of a plot to remove Senate president, Bukola Saraki, who had just defected to the PDP.
Eventually, the plot failed and the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo fired the Director General of the DSS.
