The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the results of four states inconclusive and suspended the process in 2 states.

Kano is also expected to follow

The close margins of the results in Sokoto, Adamawa, Bauchi and Plateau have led to INEC declaring them inconclusive. INEC has scheduled a rerun for these states in the next 21 days.

Today’s Echo gathers that all the inconclusive states were won by the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).

Meanwhile, INEC has suspended the electoral process in Rivers and Delta States due to the intensity of violence in these states. The electoral body announced last night that its officials are facing harassment from the military, who have abducted some of them.
