SWITZERLAND, JUNE 15 – prominent government critic, Femi Fani-Kayode has slammed the president of Ghana, Nana Akuffo-Addo over his comments on Nigeria.
FFK criticized the Ghaianian president’s use of Nigeria as a bad example of security failure during his speech to the people of Ghana.
“There is no doubt that Nigeria is going through a major crisis in terms of security yet we are still a nation that cannot be pushed around or ridiculed by ANY other African country,” FFK said on his Twitter handle on Friday.
“It is unacceptable that the President of Ghana Nana Akuffo-Addo should make reference to Nigeria’s kidnap problem in a statement to his people. This is petty and disrespectful given the support Nigeria has givenGhana for years. Despite our challenges Nigeria still dwarfs Ghana!I advise my brother and former in-law Nana Akuffo-Addo: incur not the wrath of MIGHTY Nigeria!”
