SWITZERLAND, JUNE 22 – The Federal Government has directed that all staff at the private wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja should be tested for COVID-19. This follows the discovery that an air hostess on a shuttle flight between Lagos and Abuja had tested positive.

According to media sources, the air hostess was on the same chattered flight that used by presidential aide and family member of President Buhari, Sabiu Tunde Yusuf.

Tunde had an altercation with the First Lady, Aisha Buhari last week over calls for his quarantine after travelling in a chattered flight to Lagos. The ensuing fracas had led to the firing of shots and detention of the first lady’s ADC, Usman Sugaba.

Today’s Echo gathers that Sugaba has been released and restored as the first lady’s ADC after a police panel exonerated him.

According to a source quoted by media sources, the air hostess is receiving treatment and the government has asked all the staff or workers at the private wing to go for COVID-19 test and self-isolate in line with the enabling guidelines.
