SWITZERLAND, AUGUST 23 – President Muhammadu Buhari has commissioned the Phase 2 of the Zaria Water project and Post-Graduate Centre of Excellence built by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.
Today’s Echo gathers that Buhari arrived Zaria on Thursday afternoon and was received by the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
He commissioned the water project first. According to presidency sources, the project will supply portable water to over 2.5 million people.

Afterwards, Buhari headed to the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where the commisioned the state of the art postgraduate facility built by the CBN.
Today’s ECho gather that the 360-seating capacity Auditorium of CBN’s Centre of Excellence at ABU houses a telepresence room, 7 lecture theatres, 6 lecture rooms with a total seating capacity of 544, 6 tutorial rooms with 240-seating capacity, libraries, etc.
