Buhari commissions schools named after him and Osinbajo in Maiduguri

President Muhammadu Buhari has commissioned a secondary school named after him and a primary school named after the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital as part of his visit to the state.

The schools are part of the projects executed by the administration of Governor Kassim Shettima, whose tenure ends on May 29 this year

According to the president’s personal aide on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, Muhammadu Buhari Academy has the capacity to accommodate 2400 students.

“Part of his State Visit to Borno State, President Buhari this afternoon commissioned a secondary school named after him, ‘Muhammadu Buhari Academy’ in Maiduguri, the school has the capacity to accommodate 2400 students,” Ahmad tweeted on Thursday.

According to Ahmad, Buhari also commissioned Yemi Osinbajo Primary school in Maiduguri.

Other projects Buhari commissioned in Borno State include Ibrahim Ali Industrial Park, Babagana Kingibe Primary School, Legacy Gardens, Mala Kachallah Memorial School, and Aliko Dangote Academy.
