The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has been involved in an air accident.
According to the Vice president’s media aide, Laolu Akande, Osinbajo’s helicopter crash-landed in Kabba, Kogi State on Saturday. Akande however, said that the Vice President and the entire crew are safe.

“We give all the glory to God, our able protector and commend all the Flight Crew officials for their service. We are marching on for indeed we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us!” Akande said via Twitter on Saturday afternoon.
A Twitter user posted a video of the incident, showing panic as people rushed to save the passengers of the crashed chopper, lying on its side.

Meanwhile, the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has made his first statement after the accident. Osinbajo says he is alive and well.
Professor Osinbajo confirmed his safety after the crash via his twitter handle.
“We are safe and sound! Thank you to everyone who has expressed concern and thank you to the crew who managed the situation well,” the Vice President said.
He added, “We believe that God will continue to keep us and Nigeria safe even as we go higher. We continue #NextLevelEngagements in Kabba, Kogi State.”
