PDP chieftain, Reno Omokri has reported that the DSS picked PDP spokesperson, Buba Galadima this afternoon.

Omokri revealed the development via Twitter a few minutes ago.

“PDP demands arrest of Buba Galadima at 1PM. DSS arrests him at 2PM. Nigerians are no fools. The voice of satan and the hand of lucifer. DSS should just change their name to Armed Wing of APC. How many people will they arrest before seeing the handwriting on the wall?” Omokri tweeted

Earlier in the day, APC presidential campaign committee had called for Galadima’s arrest, accusing him of plotting to declare Abubakar Atiku as the winner of the presidential poll.

The heading of a press statement signed by the director of communication strategy for the Buhari campaign, Festus Keyamo reads:

“WE CALL FOR THE IMMEDIATE ARREST OF ALHAJI BUBA GALADIMA AS PDP AND ATIKU’S CAMPAIGN PERFECT PLANS TO RELEASE FAKE PRESIDENTIAL RESULTS AHEAD OF INEC; PLANS TO MOBILISE HOODLUMS FOR CHOREOGRAPHED PROTESTS”

“In fact, Alhaji Buba Galadima, an official spokesperson for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has made a short video announcing PDP as the ‘winner’ of the Presidential Election. As an official spokesperson, he is clearly acting on behalf of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and on his instruction, ” Keyamo accused.

” We, therefore call for the immediate arrest, interrogation and prosecution of Alhaji Buba Galadima in this regard. The world is watching and waiting on Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to say something on the video by Alhaji Buba Galadima, ” he added.

Galadima is the chairman of the Reformed APC (R-APC), a faction of the ruling party, which broke away from it last year.

Galadima has however, maintained that although he is a spokesperson for Atiku, he remains an APC member.

“I am still in the APC, though I am a spokesman for the PDP presidential candidate, ” he told Seun Okinbaloye on Channels TV in a recent interview.

Galadima was appointed National Secretary of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) party, Buhari’s party formed in the run-up to the 2011 national elections.
