Ballard Partners denies sending letter to Saraki

Ballard Partners, a top United States Public Relations and lobbyist firm has denied working for the opposition PDP ahead of the 2019 presidential election. It also denied sending the letter to Senate President, Bukola Saraki, which allegedly notified the opposition party of the survey’s results.

The firm in a tweet on Wednesday, said it has not conducted any survey or research for the Nigerian opposition party

There have been several reports in some section of the media alleging that the PDP paid $90,000 (N31.5m) to firm to help drive to fruition its aspiration.

According to  Brian Ballard, the Chief Executive Officer of the firm, the organisation has not conducted any survey or research for the Nigerian opposition party.

His words: “A letter allegedly sent by me on February 5, 2019 regarding the Nigerian presidential is fraudulent. My signature has been forged. Ballard Partners has not conducted any survey research on behalf of the People’s Democratic Party of Nigeria.

“The entire contents of the letter are false, and no individual employed by Ballard Partners has been involved in any of the actions cited in this phony letter.”
