SWITZERLAND, SEPTEMBER 27 – Former Vice President and presidential candidate of the opposition PDP in the 2019 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, has saluted Bishop Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church as he clocks 65 years old today.
Bishop David Oyedepo is the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, known as Winners Chapel. He is also the Chancellor of Covenant University and Landmark University. he is widely regarded as one of the most influential religious leaders in Africa.
“Bishop David Oyedepo continues to contribute to deepening faith and upping moral values in Nigeria. His passion for and commitment to education is exemplary. I wish him a happy 65th birthday,” Atiku said in a tweet seen by Today’s ECho correspondent on Friday morning.
Bishop Oyedepo was instrumental to the reconciliation between Atiku and his former boss, ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo in October 2018, as Atiku prepared for the 2019 presidential election.
