As voting continues in today’s direct primary to chose who will represent the ruling APC at the Lagos state gubernatorial election next year, results have started trickling in.
Reports available to Today’s Echo indicate that Sanwo Olu is recording some landslide victories in key areas.
According to sources, voting has been completed in a voting centre in Agege with Sanwo Olu recording a landslide victory. Sanwo Olu got 567 votes while Ambode got none.

Meanwhile, reports have revealed results from another area, purportedly a Tinubu stronghold, with Sanwo Olu recording another massive win.
According to our sources, the final result for Ward C, Tinubu’s ward — comprising Olusosun, Alausa and Oregun — saw Ambode poll a measly four votes while his opponent, Sanwo-Olu, recorded 960 votes.
Sanwo-Olu is the anointed of Tinubu, the National Leader of the party. He already boasted of leaving Ambode in the dust at the primary.
The primary election is ongoing in many other APC wards across the state.
