Elections: Oshodi voters lament late start, as election begin with low turn out.

Some residents of Oshodi have lamented the late arrival of INEC officials in the commencement of the 2019 elections.

Although, elections are still ongoing across polling units which makes up the Oshodi LGA, Today’s Echo gathered that in some polling units such as the ones in Shopeju, Bode Olufade, Ogunoloko, Arowojobe, INEC officials arrived at past 10am, for an elections slated for 8:00am, while the number of turn out for voters is said to be low.

In Shopeju, INEC officials arrived in a white bus at about 10:15am, and voting did not commence until exactly 10:59 am

Although, the process is going on smoothly, Today’s Echo would bring more details later.
