Social media has gone advanced now as people spill every little detail of their lives on online channels and so we are innundated with bizarre stories daily. The latest is the story of a lady who found an anti-retrovial drug in her boyfriend’s house whom she had been having sex with, unprotected.

The lady’s friend posted the picture on popular online forum, Nairaland, with the caption below:

“See What A Friend Just Showed Me; Ladies Please Be Careful.
She just showed me the picture below, asking me the drug that is, that she has been seeing it in her BF’s house.
Of course you know what that is..”

A quick internet search on the drug Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate reveals that it ‘is a prescription medicine approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of HIV infection in adults and children 2 years of age and older. Tenofovir DF is always used in combination with other HIV medicines.’

What this means is that the boyfriend is HIV positive if the drug truly belongs to him and the lady could be infected if she had been having unprotected sex with him, and who knows other side guys and side chicks both of them would have.

This is why ladies need to be careful these days.
