COVID-19: Nigeria Records 595 New Cases, Total Now 33,153

SWITZERLAND, JULY 13 – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 595 new cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 33,153.

According to the NCDC, 13, 671 patients have been discharged upon treatment and recovery in 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

It added that 744 associated deaths have been recorded all over the country.

The NCDC gave the state-by-state distribution of the cases confirmed on Thursday as, “Lagos – 156, Edo – 47, Oyo – 141, Ondo – 22, Borno – 5, Plateau – 10, Kebbi – 1, Cross Rivers – 1, Kaduna – 27, FCT – 99, Kano – 5, Rivers – 20, Benue – 5, Osun – 17, Imo – 13, Nasarawa – 8, Ogun – 4, Taraba – 3, Gombe – 3, and Anambra – 8.
