Three people are feared dead in Lagos on Wednesday after a fuel tanker exploded in Ojo, Lagos setting a fire that has destroyed several vehicles.
According to media sources, the truck was loaded with 33,000 litres of petrol, conveying the combustive products to an undisclosed petrol station along the Mile 2 / Badagry expressway,
The truck fell, on reaching Barracks bus-top, setting several vehicles on fire and getting people to scamper for their lives. The incident was said to have been caused by a failed section of the road. Residents said this was not the first time trucks would fall at the bad spot.
