SWITZERLAND, JANUARY 24 – A popular Lagos-based trado-medical expert, Mr Fatai Yusuf, otherwise known as Oko Oloyun, has been assassinated by some unknown gunmen.

Oko Oloyun’s death has sparked an intense debate on Twitter, with some people arguing that he was killed by Fulani militiamen.

The herbal guru, who has his office along the LASU/Iba Road around Igando area of Lagos State, was reportedly shot dead by some hoodlums close to Igboora, along Abeokuta-Iseyin road in Oyo State.

It was learnt that some of the bullets pierced through his vehicle before hitting him and he died on the spot.

The Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Gbenga Fadeyi, who confirmed the incident, said the state Commissioner of Police, Shina Olukolu, had visited the scene and ordered an investigation into the incident.
