Last night saw another round of action at the UEFA Champions League as the big teams in Europe battle in their groups to qualify.
Two premier league teams hosted teams at home last night. Manchester United hosted CSKA Moscow at Old Trafford while Chelsea was in action against Athletico Madrid at Stamford Bridge.
Man U got a sweet victory that ensured they stayed at the top of their group, ushering them into a relatively easy draw for the next round. However, Chelsea could not easily dispatch Athletico Madrid as Diego Simieoni’s men held the blues to a 1 all draw. This means Chelsea will be second as Roma won their own match.
The biggest match of the night was Bayern Munich vs PSG. This time around, it was revenge for the Bavarians as they beat the French side 3-1.
