Moses Simon signs for Levante

Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon has penned a five-year deal with Spanish side Levante from Belgian outfit Gent.

The 23-year-old becomes the second Nigerian to leave Yves Vanderhaeghe’s squad this summer after compatriot Samuel Kalu moved to French Ligue 1 club Bordeaux on Monday .

Simon, who scored 21 goals and provided 18 assists in 136 appearances for Gent, joined the Belgian outfit in 2015 from Slovak top-flight club AS Trencin where he scored 13 goals in 33 games.

The deal worth about $4.5m was announced on the clubs official website and twitter page after he underwent a successful medical.

He missed out of the 2018 world cup due to injury.
