Mohamed Salah crowned king of African football at Aiteo Caf Awards 2017

Mohamed Salah Ghaly has been declared the Aiteo CAF footballer of the year 2017. He beat teammate Sadio Mane to the title.
In an emotion ladden event in Accra, Ghana, Salah was declared winner amid cheers from friends and well wishers.

According to Wikipedia, Salah started his career with El Mokawloon then trasffered to FC Basel in 2012, then he played for Chelsea, Fiorentina (on loan) and for Roma before transferring to Liverpool in 2017. As well as representing the Egyptian national team since 2011, He won bronze medal in Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, he also participated in the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup, the 2012 Summer Olympics, CAF cup of nations 2017 and he reach the final but lose it, then he successfully qualified with his National team to FIFA World Cup 2018 and he became the top sccorer of FIFA World Cup qualification (CAF).

He won the Swiss Super League in his first season with Basel and Premier League 2014–15, Football League Cup 2014–15 with Chelsea, He was awarded the CAF Most Promising African Talent of the Year in 2012. In 2013, he was awarded the SAFP Golden Player award for being the best player in the Swiss Super League.
