Gonzalo Higuain joins AC Milan on loan

Profilific Argentine striker, Gonzalo Higuain has penned a one year deal with AC Milan after leaving Serie A champions Juventus on loan.

AC Milan will pay 18m euros (£16m) for the loan of Higuain and have the option to make the deal permanent in a year by paying a fee of 36m euros (£32.04m).

The striker had been linked with a move to Chelsea following the appointment of Sarri as Head-coach, but the player made a u-turn around to remain in Italy.

In a statement released on the clubs website, they welcome him alongside new signing Mattia Caldar, who also left Juve to join AC Milan.
