Following the conclusion of the 2019 African Cup of Nations, Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola has redeemed the 25,000 dollar pledge made to Super Eagles.

Otedola and Aliko Dangote together pledged $75,000 for every goal scored by the Super Eagles in the knockout stage of the tournament.

Despite not clinching the cup, Otedola deemed it fit to fulfill his bond to the team, noting that integrity is keeping your word.

In a post of social media, he shared the photo below and wrote, ‘Integrity is keeping your word. I redeemed my pledge of $25000 per goal to representatives of the Super Eagles (L-R) Chidi Ngoka (Equipment Manager), Enebi Achor (Team Manager) and Defender Kenneth Omeruo today in my office‘.)
