Agboola Venmak who is an undergraduate at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), started DJ’ing at exactly 10:40 pm on August 1, 2018, launching his quest of being the longest playing DJ in the world.
He broke the world record by mixing non-stop music for 15 days, reeling out jams, which included hip-hop and pop-musicals.
DJ Venum also took a project for positive societal influence, via a yearly book donation campaign to rural Nigerian school children, supported by members of the public on same August 1, 2018.
He however has vowed not to stop until he achieves his other aim of donating one million books to Nigerian students.
