Breaking: Nigeria’s Army Chief, Attahiru, Reportedly Dies in Air Crash

SWITZERLAND, MAY 21 – Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru has died in an air crash today while on an official trip to Kaduna, according to media reports.
Today’s Echo gathers that the incidence happened on Friday.
Attahiru was appointed barely three months ago to replace Lt Gen Tukur Buratai after a failed campaign against Boko Haram and worsening security across the country.
