Suspected armed herdsmen shoot newlywed woman in a dastardly attack

A vehicle transporting people from Makurdi to Naka in Gwer loal government area of Benue State, was attacked yesterday by unknown gunmen ALLEGED to be Fulani herdsmen who opened fire on the vehicle and its passengers.. One of the passengers was killed by a bullet and a young lady was hit by a bullet.
According to reports, the injured lady is a newly married wife from Plateau state who was said to be traveling to Naka for the first time to meet her husband’s people.
