
The Federal Ministry of Power, Works, and Housing under the leadership of Babatunde Raji Fashola(SAN) has announced that power generation in Nigeria has moved from 4,000 MW to 7,000MW.
The ministry made the announcement last Friday, citing the Azura, Kaduna and Afam as new power projects that will add significantly to the power generation in the country.
According to the ministry, Azura power plant will bring on 459 MW, Kaduna is bringing 215 MW with its 2 turbines, Afam will generate 240MW, making it roughly 1,000 MW coming up.
