NOG 2018: Aiteo GMD to speak on Sustained Economic Development in Nigeria’s Oil & Gas Sector

The Managing Director of Aiteo Production and Development Company Limited, Dr Chike Onyejekwe will be speaking at the Nigerian Oil and Gas(NOG) Conference and Exhibition, which will hold from July 2 to July 5, 2018 at the International Conference Centre(ICC), Abuja, with the theme; Driving Nigeria’s Oil & Gas Industry Towards Sustained Economic Development and Growth.  Aiteo Group is one of the sponsors of the event.

NOG brings together stakeholders in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry to network, share ideas and exhibit the latest innovations. This year’s NOG will gather over 700 industry professionals to network and explore new business opportunities within the industry. Speakers and discussants are drawn from both the private and public sectors, including the honourable Minister of State for Petroleum, Group Managing Director of the NNPC, and the OPEC Secretary-General.

With a peak production capacity of 90,000 bopd, Aiteo is one of the largest indigenous oil companies in Nigeria in terms of crude oil output. It is the operating partner of the Oil Mining Lease(OML) 29, one of the largest offshore oil blocs in the Eastern Niger Delta. It is also the operating partner of the Nembe Creek Trunk Line(NCTL), a 115km long, 150,000bpd capacity oil delivery pipeline traversing over 100 indigenous autonomous communities between Rivers and Bayelsa States.

This is Aiteo’s second consecutive sponsorship at the NOG. Dr Chike Onyejekwe is scheduled to speak on July 3 in the second session of the day, themed: Investing in the Future of Nigeria for Sustained Economic Development & Growth. Aiteo is sponsoring the networking launch taking place on July 24 and will also be participating in the exhibitions, from July 2 to July 5.

Locally, the company engages in bulk petroleum products storage and the trading, marketing & distribution of refined products; Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) and Dual-Purpose Kerosene (DPK).

Aiteo is also ranked amongst the largest indigenous petroleum marketing companies in the downstream sector, in terms of product importation and storage capacity. With a combined storage capacity in the excess of 230 million litres, it presently has one of the largest, private storage facilities for refined petroleum products in Nigeria.
