A coalition of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) under the auspices of the Petroleum Industry Governance Bill (PIGB) Advocacy Team has said Nigeria loses N3 trillion annually over lack of proper governance in the extractive industry.

The advocacy team said this yesterday when it paid a courtesy visit to the headquarters of Media Trust Limited, publishers of Daily Trust and other titles.

The head of the delegation and National Coordinator, Publish What you Pay Nigeria, Mr Peter Egbule, said the visit was to seek support from media houses to drive the call by Nigerians for President Muhammadu Buhari to grant assent to the PIGB which was recently passed by the National Assembly and transmitted to his office.
