Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane has reiterated his commitment to winning a trophy soon in his career. In an exclusive interview with SkySports, Kane revealed his desire to add medals to his trophy collection.

The Brit who owns an array of individual trophies ranging from 2 English Premier League (EPL) Golden Shoe to 7 Player of the Month awards wants team trophies to embellish his cabinet.

“Every day a thought forms in my head that I want to win a trophy, how good it would be to win the FA Cup this year, or the Premier League next year, or the World Cup in the summer, that’s definitely what I want to achieve,” Kane said. He added: ”We still have a chance this year and I think if we do win the FA Cup and finish top four it would be a good season.”

This revelation represents the latest twist in the transfer saga involving Spurs and Real Madrid. Real’s President, Florentino Perez is a public admirer of Kane and wants him as his latest galactico signing, however; Tottenham Chairman, Daniel Levy, renowned for driving a hard bargain, has stated his intentions of keeping the club’s top scorer beyond the summer.

Levy’s stance has prompted Perez into shifting his attention, in the interim, to Bayern Munich striker, Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker is seeking a move away from the German champions to fulfil his childhood dream of donning the famous all-white jersey and cashing in on a huge payday in the twilight of his career.

Lewandowski’s attempt to force a move away from Bayern precipitated his sacking of long-serving agent, Cezary Kucharski last month. In his lieu, Lewandowski hired Pini Zahavi who famously orchestrated the world record transfer of Neymar to Paris Saint Germain (PSG).

Kane resumes his quest to move ahead of Mohammed Salah on the EPL goalscoring charts when Spurs play host to Manchester City this Saturday at Wembley.
