Former Minister of Aviation and prominent chieftain of the PDP, Femi Fani Kayode continues his tirade against president Muhamadu Buhari through his series of Tweets.

This time around, FFK says Buhari cannot control his cabinet.

In one of the tweets, the fiery critic says, “If fugitive Pensions boss Abdulrasheed Maina had been a member of the PDP and if he was not under the protection of the Min. of Internal Affairs, the Min. of Justice, the Head of Service and the evil cabal, he and his family would be in indefinate detention by now. APC rogues!”

Another of his tweets reads: “Hon.Min. Kachikwu says GMD NNPC lied.GMD NNPC says Hon.Min. Kachikwu lied. Hon.Min. Dambazau says Head of Service lied. Head of Service says Hon.Min. Dambazau lied. What a shitty show of shame is running! Can’t even control his own officials let alone run a country!”

In recent times, the Federal government has been ocean of storms and scandals. Just as the dust of the crisis in the petroleum sector between Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu and NNPC GMD, Maikantu Baru was settling, another storm raged in the Ministry of Interior.

Last weekend, Media sources revealed that the disgraced and fugitive former chairman of presidential task force on pension reforms, Abdulrasheed Maina has been reinstated into the civil service and promoted to head a department in the Ministry of Interior.  Maina  was accused of complicity in the over N 2 billion Pensions Biometric Scam in the office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation.

The outrage has been massive as many people condemned the move. In a bid to save face, and to show the people that the presidency had no hand in it, Buhari ordered that Maina be fired with immediate effect and the process leading to his recall be investigated.

The Maina saga has led to intense criticisms from the opposition, as PDP stalwarts and activists question the essence of Buhari’s anti-corruption crusade in the light of recent embarrassing issues.
