Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Atiku Abubakar has scaled up his efforts to garner support in Nigeria’s commercial capital; Lagos State.
Lagos is a traditional base of the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC), with god-father Bola Tinubu determining the political direction of the state since 1999. Now, with the challenge posed by Atiku, Lagos is set to be the site of an epic battle as the two gladiators face-off in an exciting encounter on Saturday.
One of the ways Atiku is trying to gather more supporters in Lagos is through the social media. Today’s Echo understands that activities supporting Atiku have been intensified on Twitter, with the harshtag
#AtikuLoNiEko currently trending. This translates to ‘Atiku owns Lagos’
