The National Director of Lawyers Forum for Justice and Good Governance, comrade Isa Mohammed has alleged that Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai have reached an agreement with the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Mohammed, to upturn the recent judgement of the Supreme court on the APC in Rivers State.
Today’s Echo had reported on February 8 that the Supreme Court had upheld the judgement given by the Federal High Court in Port Harcourt, barring the All Progressives Congress from the general elections in Rivers State.
According to Isa Mohammed, Amaechi and El-Rufai will in return, help force/blackmail NJC members to confirm him as substantive CJN.
“Amaechi and El-rufai meet with Tanko Mohammed to pressure the panel hearing Rivers APC crisis to upturn and reverse the ruling. After Amaechi failed in the pressure to shift the Friday ruling, he brought in El-rufai who helped influence Justice Tanko who is pressuring the panel to reverse the judgment and approve Amaechi’s APC Faction for the election, ” Isa Mohammed said in a statement available to Today’s Echo
